Why straighten your teeth?
There are many motivations for someone to seek out teeth alignment procedures. But there’s only one reason that should
encourage you to straighten your teeth: having straight teeth can reduce the onset of diseases and minimise specific health
issues. Having teeth that are properly aligned can relieve pain caused by excessive stress on our jaws and reduce the risk of
breaks, chips and cracks that occur when our teeth aren’t aligned properly. Moreover, straight teeth – that don’t overlap –
are easier to clean and maintain. As a result, this reduces the build-up of unwanted bacteria and the risk of decay,
which can lead to other health issues.
Aligners are the ‘invisible’ alternative to braces. They’re a thin, transparent plastic shell that fits around your teeth and moves them in small increments when worn consistently. Unlike braces, they are removable.
Aligners are a gentle and comfortable teeth straightening method. They move your teeth into place by gently putting pressure on them. This pressure is transferred to the root of your teeth and your jaws, which will slowly shift until your teeth are aligned. When you opt for aligners, you will receive a set of aligners – between 10 and 50 – designed to move your teeth incrementally. From there, you will gradually swap out one aligner for the next every one to two weeks until you’ve achieved the desired result. To be effective, aligners should be worn 22 hours daily and only removed when eating, brushing our teeth or flossing.
As with other treatments, clear aligners begin with a thorough consultation. Your dentist will conduct a comprehensive oral examination during this appointment and assess your overall dental health. More importantly, this session will allow you to ask us questions and voice concerns. We’ll also run through all teeth alignment options if clear aligners are not for you.
DIGITAL SCANNING
DIGITAL SCANNING AND IMPRESSIONS
After the consultation and you’ve agreed to proceed with the procedure, we’ll begin with creating scans and impressions of your mouth. We’ll use this opportunity to scan your mouth with the 3Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner to see exactly what’s going on and what needs to be done. These scans will be used to design the treatment plan and create the custom clear aligners.
FITTING
RECEIVING AND WEARING THE ALIGNERS
When the aligners are ready, we’ll call you to come in for a fitting. During this session, we’ll educate you on how to wear and care for your aligners. We’ll also give you strict instructions on when to switch aligners to ensure progress.
MONITORING
MONITORING PROGRESS
You will need to come in for regular check-ups to ensure adequate progress with the clear aligners. These appointments will also allow you to address any concerns or questions about your aligners.

Dr. Marcus is fantastic. He is kind, calm and extremely gentle with my teeth, I couldn’t recommend him more for someone who is scared of the pain associated with dental appointments. The clinic is a bit on the pricey side but it’s worth it for the service. And a TV on the roof is cool too lol.

Dr Tu Anh Pham is the best dentist I have ever had. She explains things well and makes sure you know what is happening throughout your appointment. She is also the gentlest dentist I have ever been to! I highly recommend her - especially for people who don’t like going to the dentist!

Best dental experience I have ever had. The clinic have a really holistic approach to dental with weighted blankets and a Tv screen on the roof when you recline to watch calming nature documentaries. Would definitely recommend if you are anxious about going to the dentist!

I had Marcus for the first time as my dentist and he was so nice and calm. He voice is so soothing and knows what he is doing. He listens and understands the customers needs and has a excellent helper on the side! Vanessa was also a brilliant lady, helping Marcus with cleaning and assisting the mouth. Lovely experience for the first time too and will definitely come back for a check-up again in a few months.
