Who We Are

Dr. Tu Pham

Bachelor of Dental Science (Melb)
Progressive Orthodontic Seminars Graduate

Dr Tu graduated from The University of Melbourne with Honours and has over 10 years of experience.

Dr Tu is especially conscious of the fear that often associates dental visits, having been afraid to sit in the dentist’s chair herself. She is known for her caring and gentle manner with kids.

She focuses on oral health education and preventative dental services, as well as orthodontic treatment, root canal therapy and cosmetic dental services.

With a personal commitment to continuing her education, Dr Tu prides herself on regularly attending seminars and using the latest technology to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes for her patients.

She enjoys tennis, cooking and spending time with her family and friends on the weekend.

Dr. Judy Lin

Doctor of Dental Surgery (Melb)

Dr Judy graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery after completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine with Honours.

Judy is passionate about all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in restorative and preventive dentistry. She is dedicated to providing quality care and service while ensuring that the patients feel comfortable during treatment.

Dr Judy understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting to many people, and her friendly and caring nature helps relax anxious patients and children.

Dr. Marcus Matear

Doctor of Dental Surgery (Melb)

Dr. Marcus graduated from Melbourne University Doctor of Dental Surgery after completing a Bachelor of Science Honours in Physiology.

He was an anxious patient himself. “Now, I find understanding and caring for patients highly rewarding. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages. I am passionate about helping patients achieve their dental health goals.”

He has a special interest in preventive, general, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics. Marcus is passionate about providing excellent care for his patients.

Outside of Dentistry, Marcus was a contestant on the Foxtel TV show, Great Australian Bake Off 2018. He regularly posts delicious dental-friendly recipes for patients to prevent dental problems.

He enjoys cooking, dancing, tennis, soccer, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Louis Ngo

Oral Health Therapist

With over ten years of experience in private and public dental practices and further teaching experience at the Melbourne Dental School, Louis has extensive expertise in dental disease prevention and dental health promotion.

Prevention of dental diseases includes a range of innovative care such as tailored gum treatment, ultra-conservative white fillings, white fissure sealants and, most importantly, developing your dental knowledge with the latest scientific evidence. Louis will partner with you on your journey to a new standard of oral health functioning and wellbeing.

Vanessa

Dental Assistant

Vanessa offers a reassuring and welcoming experience for our patients and loves being able to help people achieve a better smile. Her number one tip for patients, especially the anxious ones, is to stay calm – we’ll take care of you!

In her spare time, Vanessa likes playing board games, swimming, and practising yoga.

Evy

Practice Manager

Evy is our super-organised practice manager, who makes sure everything runs smoothly for practitioners, assistant staff and especially our patients. She has over 5 years of experience in healthcare admin, and she brings this expertise into the day-to-day running of Maidstone Dental.

In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, travelling and is currently trying to learn Japanese.

Lisa

Receptionist

Lisa is an expert at making sure the administrative needs of our patients are taken care of, so you can just focus on your dental care. She has four years of experience working in the dental industry, and finds not one day is the same. One of the things she loves about working at Maidstone Dental is our use of advanced technology.

Lisa’s number one dental tip? Remember to floss – if you’re struggling some flosses are designed with a handle to make it easy for you!

Sarah

Dental Assistant

Sarah has been a dental assistant for many years and finds great satisfaction in providing quality care ensuring patients feel comfortable and have a good experience, especially if it means overcoming dental fears. Working with a great team and the latest technology makes this a very rewarding and satisfying journey as she looks forward to seeing the patients smile. Sarah enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends on the weekend.

Si

Dental Assistant

Si’s calming experience and patience creates a welcoming atmosphere for all of our patients; young and old. As a father of two young children, he understands what it takes to make oral healthcare a part of the routine.

His number one dental tip? Build a foundation of good dental hygiene in children at a young age. Teach them how to floss and how to brush.
